How It Works

1. Begin by attaching the bite positioner to the central housing of the Litewing. Optionally, you may use cheek retractors to enhance visibility for photography.
2. Instruct the patient to open their mouth and carefully position the wings of the bite positioner on their premolars or molars.
3. With the patient gently biting down on the assembled Litewing apparatus, align your digital camera to capture the desired dentition.
4. Once ready, prompt either your assistant or the patient to activate the Litewing by pressing the remote control lighting trigger.
5. As the Litewing's powerful LEDs illuminate the area, capture an image of the fully transilluminated dentition.
6. Share the captured image or any significant findings with the patient promptly to facilitate better communication and engagement.
